I believe that at the core of good outcomes for patients is a good doctor-patient relationship. This starts by establishing a good bond and trust between the two of us. I pride myself on being able to connect with my patients and stay connected before, during and after their care. I truly believe that to best serve my patients we have to look at the long-term outcomes and improvement in their quality of life. We have to treat the patient as a whole, not just the disease entity on its own. This most likely will entail a good support system.
I have greater satisfaction in taking care of patients and alleviating their ailments in a surgical or medical fashion. It is well known that obesity and morbid obesity are an epidemic affecting not just the United States but the whole globe.
I have dedicated my surgical skills to minimally invasive surgery mainly in the abdominal cavity focusing on the treatment of morbid obesity and intestinal diseases (foregut conditions) in addition to complex abdominal wall hernias.
